Soyuz Foods International Incorporated was formed by professionals in the fields of marketing, production and export with the purpose of producing and marketing 100% Philippine fruit purees with no additives or preservatives meeting the highest international standards.
The company traces its roots back to August 2003, when its predecessor, Soyuz Food Products Philippines, Inc. started to engage in the production and marketing of Philippine fruit preserves. In 2005, the principals embarked on an ambitious research project with the Department of Science and Technology's Industrial Technology Development Institute in order to identify, test and develop processes and packaging that would allow two of the Philippines' famous fruits -- mango and calamansi -- to be exported with a guaranteed shelf life of at least 6 months at room temperature, without need for freezing, refrigeration or any artificial preservatives.
In May 2006, Soyuz Foods International Inc. was formed to concentrate on servicing the demand for 100% natural mango puree and calamansi extract. Strong links have been established with food producers and processors in southern Philippines thereby assuring adequate supply of raw materials and timely delivery of orders
In the near future, Soyuz Foods International plans to similarly conduct research on other Philippine produce and enlarge its portfolio of fruit purees and extracts.
